Wat Phra That Doi
Suthep (WDS) Meditation and Development Center is located in the small Aegna island, in Estonia. It was founded in 2016 by Venerable Ṭhitañāṇo Bhikkhu (Andrus Kahn), the Head of Estonian Theravada Sangha and the Board Member of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Estonian and Most Venerable Phra Dhamsenabodi Thongchai Suwannasiri, the Head Monk of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to promote the practice of meditation as it taught by the Buddha.
practice is aimed to develop concentration (samadhi) by calming mind (samatha) and developing insight (vipassanā), which directs the mind to the realization of Enlightenment (nibbāna).
